The Process
The procedure takes approximately 10 minutes to perform. About 8 ml of blood is drawn from the patient’s body and is then processed to extract platelet plasma from it. Meanwhile, a topical local anaesthetic cream is applied to the patient’s face for 20-30 minutes. Hyaluronic acid filler and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is injected as the final step.
